About Andrew

Andrew Pinto trained first as a student of the liberal arts and then as a lawyer. He earned a B.A. from Wake Forest University before enrolling at Elon University School of Law, where he received his J.D. His academic background combined classroom work and practical skills training, and it set the stage for a steady career in private practice.

Soon after law school, Pinto entered the practice of law. He joined the firm now known as Pinto Coates Kyre & Bowers, PLLC, and built experience advising clients and handling courtroom matters. Over the course of his career he has worked on matters that required litigation, negotiation, and written advocacy, often balancing documents and deadlines alongside client meetings and court appearances.

Pinto’s work has required him to move between strategy and detail. He prepares pleadings, conducts legal research, and develops case plans. He also spends time in direct client contact, explaining options and possible outcomes in plain language. Colleagues describe him as methodical in how he organizes files and practical in how he presents legal issues to clients and judges.

Outside of casework he has contributed to firm-level discussions about case management and client intake. He has been involved in mentoring newer lawyers at the firm, helping them learn procedures and courtroom practice. That combination of hands-on litigation work and internal practice management informs how he approaches the business of law. He has also maintained ties to his alma mater networks in North Carolina.

Today Pinto practices at Pinto Coates Kyre & Bowers, PLLC, where he provides representation and counsel to individuals and businesses. His day-to-day work continues to include document drafting, client counseling, and court appearances, and he remains based at the firm’s office while taking on matters for a range of clients.
