About Sarah
Sarah Springer built a legal life that spans government service, private practice and the bench. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of South Carolina in 1977 and continued at the same school for her J.D., awarded in 1980. She later pursued judicial education at the National Judicial College at the University of Nevada–Reno in 1995.
Her early career began in state government. In 1980 she worked for the Texas Department of Community Affairs, a post that introduced her to the intersection of law and public policy. She entered private practice a year later, opening a solo office in 1981. After several years she joined Goldman, Dreyfus & Primeaux as an associate in 1985. That stint in firm practice was followed by a return to solo work in 1989 under the Sarah Springer Law Office name.
In 1995 Springer took up a judicial role as a Chancery Court Judge in Mississippi. The judgeship placed her in the courtroom as a trier of fact and equity matters. After serving on the bench she resumed private practice and continued to alternate between solo work and collaborative settings. In 2007 she established The Springer Law Office PLLC and is listed as principal lawyer there.
Over the decades Springer has maintained memberships across multiple jurisdictions. She is admitted in both Texas and Mississippi and has been a member of the Mississippi State Bar since 1982. Locally she has been active in bar organizations across Fort Bend, Houston, Austin County and Katy. She has served as president of the Katy Bar Association and the Fort Bend County Bar Association. Since 2007 she has sat on the board of Fort Bend Lawyers Care, a local legal services organization.
Springer’s resume reflects a mix of public and private roles. It includes administrative work in state government, decades of solo practice, firm experience and time on the chancery bench. That variety has given her practical familiarity with courtroom procedure, case management and the rhythms of community bar activity. Colleagues and clients see a lawyer whose career has moved through different corners of the legal system rather than following a single predictable track.
She continues to practice from The Springer Law Office PLLC and remains active in county and regional bar associations. Her current practice focuses on matters arising from her years of trial, judicial and solo practice.
