About Eduardo
Eduardo Amesty brings a cross-border legal education to his practice. He earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín in Venezuela in 2000. He later pursued further legal training in the United States, completing paralegal studies at Rice University in 2018 and earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Energy and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston–Downtown.
Amesty began his legal career in Venezuela. He worked as an associate lawyer in 2013 at a Venezuelan law firm listed simply as Venezuelan Lawyers. Those early years gave him exposure to civil law practice and the transactional work common in Latin American markets. The experience also provided a practical foundation for later work that would bridge jurisdictions.
After his initial practice, Amesty moved into partnership roles. In 2019 he joined Rome Ramones III Amesty as Partner and Director. That position expanded his responsibilities to include management and client development in addition to case work. The role marked a shift from a purely associate-level practice to one that mixed legal work with firm leadership.
He deepened his academic credentials in subjects that align with regional industry needs. The LL.M. program in energy and natural resources law supplemented his Venezuelan law training and his paralegal background. The combination of degrees gives him both doctrinal and practical perspectives on resource disputes, regulatory matters, and transactional issues tied to the energy sector.
In 2023 Amesty took the next step and became a founding partner of Braam Partners Law Office. That move formalized a practice based in Texas. His career path reflects steady progression from associate work through firm leadership to founding a practice of his own. Colleagues describe him as methodical in approach and attentive to cross-border legal questions.
Amesty is admitted to practice in Texas. His current work draws on his LL.B. and LL.M. training to handle matters that involve energy and natural resources law as well as commercial and transactional issues that cross national lines. He maintains an office under the Braam Partners name and continues to develop a practice that combines litigation readiness and transactional counseling. His present practice focuses on energy and natural resources matters and related commercial work.
