About Hanna
Hanna Niner trained first as a social scientist and then as a lawyer. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from Trinity University in 2017 and continued her legal education at the University of Houston Law Center, receiving her J.D. in 2023. Those years shaped her interest in how law intersects with family and community life.
Her entry into practice began immediately after law school. In 2023 she worked as a lawyer at Diggs & Sadler, where she handled a range of matters that introduced her to courtroom procedure and client counseling. The position gave her early exposure to case management and court hearings. It was a formative step between classroom training and full-time practice.
In 2024 Niner joined Hunt Law Office, PLLC as an associate. She is based at the firm that maintains offices in Sugar Land, League City and Cypress. As an associate she has taken on case preparation, courtroom filings and client meetings. Colleagues describe her as steady in court and attentive in client conferences. She balances litigation tasks with efforts to keep clients informed about process and schedules.
Niner is licensed to practice in Texas and maintains memberships in several local and state bar groups connected to family law. She belongs to the Family Bar of Fort Bend, the Houston Bar Association and its Family Law Section, the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, the Fort Bend County Bar Association and the Katy Bar Association. Those memberships reflect the local professional network she relies on for referrals, continuing education and peer discussion.
Her background in sociology and political science continues to inform her view of family law as a discipline that touches relationships and institutions. She approaches cases by combining legal analysis with attention to how outcomes affect household arrangements over time. Niner lives and works in the Houston region and appears regularly in local family courts. She currently practices family law at Hunt Law Office, PLLC, serving clients through the firm’s Sugar Land, League City and Cypress offices.
