About Ryan P

Ryan P Phillips grew up studying history and law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University in 2015. Those years framed his transition from undergraduate study to legal training and set the stage for early practical work in a small-firm environment.

While still in law school he spent several seasons as a law clerk. In 2011 he worked at DeLuca & Nemeroff, LLP, and from 2012 through 2014 he held law clerk positions at The Nemeroff Law Office, P.C. Those formative years gave him steady exposure to courtroom filings, client intake and the day-to-day mechanics of practice at a regional firm.

After completing his J.D., Phillips pursued admission to multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted in Louisiana and Pennsylvania and is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and in the federal district courts serving the Middle and Eastern Districts of Louisiana. That admission pattern reflects a practice that spans both state and federal forums in the region.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and practical in his approach. He built experience early through routine docket work and courtroom preparation while clerking. Those experiences carried over into his professional practice after graduation and informed the kind of matters he handles today.

Phillips maintains professional memberships that date back to the mid-2010s. He joined bar-related organizations after law school and has remained active in local professional circles since then. His network is focused on the legal communities in Louisiana and Pennsylvania, where he holds his licenses.

He works out of The Nemeroff Law Office, PC, the same firm where he completed multiple clerkships. At the firm he handles matters that require appearances and filings in both state and federal courts. His practice involves representing clients through litigation steps and court proceedings across the jurisdictions where he is admitted.

In his current practice he concentrates on litigation and federal and state court work arising in Louisiana and Pennsylvania.
