About Rory
Rory Munns built his legal foundation in New England. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2006. He then went on to receive his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2013.
After law school Munns entered private practice. In 2013 he joined The Law Office of Chad F Bank as an associate lawyer. That role put him into the day-to-day work of a practicing attorney. He handled case preparation, client consultations and legal research while learning the professional routines of a law office.
Munns is admitted to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He holds current membership in the Rhode Island State Bar. That standing allows him to appear in state courts and engage in courtroom work across the two jurisdictions where he is licensed.
Over time Munns has focused his work on criminal defense. He has represented clients at various stages of criminal proceedings, from initial arrests through arraignment and subsequent court appearances. He takes cases that require negotiation as well as those that proceed to trial, and he addresses matters that intersect with both state and local law enforcement practices.
Today he operates under the name Criminal Defense Lawyer Rory Munns. His practice handles criminal matters for individuals in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He maintains a practice that emphasizes direct client contact and active case management. He continues to work in the state courts where he is admitted and to maintain his membership in the Rhode Island bar.
Munns keeps his practice local and case-driven. He represents clients charged with criminal offenses and manages the litigation tasks that those matters demand. He currently concentrates his practice on criminal defense matters.
