About Adam J.
Adam J. Resmini began his path toward the law in the classrooms of Furman University, where he studied political science. He went on to earn his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. Those years shaped his approach to courtroom procedure and client advocacy.
While in law school he took a practical route. He served as a Rule 9 student lawyer in the Roger Williams Criminal Defense Clinic, representing clients under supervision. He also interned in the Criminal Division of the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office and in the Civil Litigation Department of the District of Columbia’s Attorney General’s Office. Between internships he clerked for Judge Daniel Procaccini in the Superior Court, gaining daily exposure to trial practice and judicial decision-making.
After law school he entered private practice. In 2009 he joined the Law Offices of Ronald J. Resmini, Accident & Injury Lawyers, Ltd. He has worked on civil litigation matters there and in related forums for more than a decade. He is licensed to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and his work has involved filings and hearings in state and federal courts across those jurisdictions.
Resmini’s background spans defense clinic work, public-sector internships and years in a private injury practice. That mix gives him familiarity with both sides of courtroom advocacy. He handles accident and injury matters for individuals and pursues remedies through negotiated settlements and litigation when needed. His practice draws on courtroom experience from his clerkship and civil litigation exposure from his time in the District of Columbia’s Attorney General’s Office.
He maintains professional ties in the region and is a member of the Rhode Island Association for Justice. Those connections keep him engaged with developments in tort law and trial practice.
