About Ronald M

Ronald M Katkocin began his path to the law in the classrooms of Cabrini College, where he earned a B.A. in English and Communications in 1980. He continued his studies at Washington and Lee University School of Law and completed his J.D. in 1985. Those years shaped a lawyer comfortable with both the written word and courtroom argument.

He entered practice in the mid-1980s and over the years has built a private practice that reflects steady, hands-on work rather than headline-making cases. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. Alongside his practice, Katkocin has taken on an academic role. He serves as an adjunct professor of Business Law at Cabrini University, bringing real-world issues into the classroom and helping students connect legal doctrine to everyday business decisions.

Katkocin’s involvement in the legal community extends beyond teaching and client work. He maintains active memberships in the New Jersey Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association, and the Camden County Bar Association. Colleagues note his participation on the District IV Ethics Committee, a role that places him at the intersection of professional responsibility and local practice standards.

Running the Katkocin Law Office, he handles client matters through a small-firm model. That setting allows him to work directly with clients and manage cases personally from intake through resolution. The office operates in the plain practical world of filings, hearings and client conferences, where consistency and attention to detail matter most.

Students, clients and peers have encountered Katkocin in different settings: in a classroom explaining contract basics, in a conference room drafting pleadings, or at a bar meeting discussing ethics and rules. He has combined those roles into a career that is part teacher, part practitioner and part local bar participant. He has not pursued public notoriety. Instead, he has focused on steady contributions to his practice and to the institutions around him.

He continues to practice law through the Katkocin Law Office and teaches at Cabrini University. He focuses his practice on matters brought in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and appears in appropriate state and federal venues as needed.
