Rodney William Wickers is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California in 1977. He holds and maintains an active license status. Mr. Wickers is the founding partner of Wickers, Wickers & Admans LLP, a law firm located at 2790 Skypark Drive, Suite 209, Torrance, California. He has been practicing law for over forty years, serving clients throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
Mr. Wickers earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 1973. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, graduating in 1976. During law school, he served as the Managing Editor of the Hastings Law News and was initiated into the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi in 1974.
Mr. Wickers specializes in estate and trust litigation, business law, and family law. His practice encompasses various case types, including estate planning, probate administration, business formation, and family law matters such as divorce and child custody. He represents clients at all stages of legal proceedings, from initial consultations and negotiations to trials and appeals in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wickers has handled numerous cases in the Superior Court of California for Los Angeles and Orange Counties, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal. Prior to founding his firm in 1992, he served as a Judge Advocate General in the U.S. Air Force, where he gained extensive trial experience.
Mr. Wickers is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the South Bay Bar Association. He has been recognized on the Super Lawyers Southern California list for Trust and Estates Litigation for multiple consecutive years. In addition to his professional practice, he has contributed to the legal community through pro bono services, including serving as a mediator and arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a board member for the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Institutional Review Board.
