About Rodney John
Rodney John Alberto is the managing partner of Alberto Brothers Law Office. He earned his J.D. from Boston College in 2004. He is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York and has maintained memberships in professional organizations that reflect a practice centered on immigration law.
His early years in law are shaped by legal training at Boston College. After graduation he moved into private practice and built a practice that serves individuals and families across state lines. Over time he took on firm leadership responsibilities and now oversees day-to-day operations as managing partner.
Professional associations have been a steady part of his career. He joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2005 and remains an active member. He is also a member of the Asian-Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey, where he has been listed as a member since 2008. Those ties connect him with a broader community of practitioners and provide a forum for continuing education and peer exchange.
At the firm he handles a range of immigration matters. His work covers family-based petitions, naturalization applications, and removal defense, as well as employment-based immigration questions. He represents clients in administrative proceedings and in interactions with federal agencies. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach and steady under pressure.
As managing partner, Alberto runs the firm’s headquarters operations and supervises case strategy and client intake. He balances administrative duties with client work, stepping in on complex matters and mentoring junior lawyers. The office serves clients throughout New Jersey and New York, reflecting his admissions to both state bars.
Outside of casework he participates in professional programs and membership activities. He has kept continuous involvement in AILA since 2005 and in the Asian-Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey since 2008. Those memberships inform his practice and help him stay current on regulatory developments that affect immigrant clients.
He currently practices immigration law at Alberto Brothers Law Office, serving clients across New Jersey and New York.
