About Amber
Amber Delaney earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2019. She completed the standard course of study and entered the legal market as the profession faced a shifting post-recession landscape. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and has spent the first years of her career building practical courtroom and client-facing experience.
Early in 2021 she joined TSC Law as a lawyer. That role introduced her to day-to-day litigation work and the procedural demands of running cases. Later that same year she moved to Judd Shaw Injury Law and took on the title of lead lawyer. The move placed her in a position that required managing files, directing strategy on individual matters, and coordinating with clients and medical providers.
At Judd Shaw Injury Law, the name of the firm signaled the type of work she handled: injury claims. As lead lawyer she oversaw case preparation, drafted pleadings, and handled negotiations on behalf of clients. The position required juggling multiple files at once and making tactical choices about settlement versus further pursuit. Colleagues describe her work as steady and detail-oriented; she has been involved in building cases from intake through resolution.
Her legal training at Widener appears to have informed her practical approach. The law school’s curriculum and experiential offerings gave her a foundation in civil litigation practice and legal research. She has put that training to use in court filings and client interviews, and she has adapted as cases required different approaches to evidence and advocacy.
Delaney’s career so far has been compact but focused. She moved quickly from an associate-level role to a leadership position within the same year, and that progression exposed her to both the granular tasks of casework and the broader responsibilities of directing a practice area.
