About Robert L. Sachs
Robert L. Sachs Jr. built his start in law on two East Coast schools. He earned a B.A. from Amherst College in 1981 and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1984. Those credentials set the stage for a career centered on trial work and professional involvement in the Philadelphia legal community.
After law school he established himself in Pennsylvania, where he practices and handles courtroom matters. He rose through the ranks at Shrager, Spivey & Sachs and now serves as the firm's managing partner. In that role he combines casework with administrative duties, supervising colleagues and overseeing firm operations while remaining active in litigation.
Sachs’s professional life is threaded through a range of trial-focused organizations. He sits on the board of directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and maintains membership in that organization. He is also involved in the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Medico-Legal Committee, an intersection of medical and legal issues that often informs civil litigation.
