About Shawn
Shawn McBrearty built his legal foundation at Temple University, where he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2014. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Drexel University School of Law in 2018. The two degrees shaped his interest in the intersection of business and law and provided a base for litigation practice.
After law school he entered private practice. In 2019 he joined Sidkoff, Pincus & Green, P.C. as an associate. That role placed him in a firm environment handling contested matters and court filings. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing pleadings and attentive in discovery tasks.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Those admissions allow him to work on matters that move from state trial courts to federal appellate review. He has held professional memberships since 2019 and maintains ties to local bar activities.
At the firm he has focused on litigation tasks typical for associates: drafting motions, conducting legal research, preparing for hearings and assisting on appeals. He has handled filings in both trial and appellate settings and supported larger teams on complex dockets. His work requires careful citation, adherence to procedural rules and readiness to respond under court deadlines.
Clients and other attorneys encounter McBrearty in court papers and oral argument preparation more often than in transactional negotiations. He has contributed to appellate briefs filed in the Third Circuit and to contested matters in Pennsylvania trial courts. That combination of trial and appellate exposure informs how he approaches case strategy.
He continues to practice at Sidkoff, Pincus & Green, P.C., where he represents clients in Pennsylvania courts and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
