About Robert Brian

Robert Brian Volynsky built a legal foundation at the University of California, Los Angeles and Hofstra University. He earned a B.A. at UCLA and later a J.D. from Hofstra. Those years on campus shaped his approach to legal work: methodical, attentive to detail and oriented toward courtroom procedure.

He moved into private practice after law school and rose through firm ranks to become a partner at Weltz Law. The record provided does not detail earlier firms or clerkships. At Weltz Law he shares responsibility for client matters and for coordinating litigation that reaches state and federal courts. Colleagues describe him as steady under pressure and attentive to the practical demands of case management.

Volynsky is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and California. He also holds admission to federal courts: the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Northern, Central and Eastern Districts of California. Those admissions allow him to carry matters into federal forums when the facts and law require it. He appears in trial-level federal courts as well as state courts across the three states.

His courtroom experience is reflected in the jurisdictions where he is authorized to appear. That experience informs how he prepares cases — from pleadings and discovery through motions practice and hearings. He handles procedural strategy and coordinates with experts and co-counsel when cases demand multi-jurisdictional attention. Day-to-day work includes drafting briefs, managing discovery, and arguing matters in court.

Outside the courtroom he takes part in firm operations and client counseling. At Weltz Law he works with a team to map litigation timelines and to resolve disputes through negotiation when possible. He also manages filings and the logistical work that supports complex cases across state lines.

He maintains active admission in multiple state and federal courts and practices from his partnership role at Weltz Law. He currently practices at Weltz Law and handles matters in the jurisdictions where he is admitted.
