Richard Stephan Kolomejec is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Kolomejec is the principal attorney at Kolomejec Law, a law firm located at 9 Pier, Suite 100, San Francisco, CA 94111-1451. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. Kolomejec earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1992, specializing in International Law. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Santa Clara University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1989. During his time at McGeorge School of Law, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in international legal matters.

Mr. Kolomejec concentrates his practice in the areas of immigration law and family law. He represents individuals and families in matters involving family-based petitions, fiancé visas, spousal visas, changes to student status, extensions of tourist visas, work permits, H-1B visas, travel and re-entry permits, green card lottery programs, and U.S. citizenship and naturalization. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case evaluation, document preparation, application submissions, and representation in hearings before immigration authorities.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kolomejec has handled numerous cases before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of State, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). He has also appeared before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in matters related to immigration law. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-sized immigration law firm in San Francisco for five years.

Mr. Kolomejec is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the San Francisco Bar Association. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field of immigration law and has served as a speaker at various legal seminars and workshops. Mr. Kolomejec is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
