Mr. Oberto earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2006. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. During his time at UC Berkeley, he was recognized with the Best Brief award in the McBaine Moot Court Competition in 2005, highlighting his strong advocacy skills.
Mr. Oberto concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, appeals, juvenile law, and white-collar crime. He represents individuals in matters involving drug crimes, fraud, gun crimes, internet crimes, sex crimes, theft, and violent crimes. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Weiss, Martin, Salinas & Hearst and as a defense attorney at the Fresno County Public Defender's Office.
Mr. Oberto is an active member of the Federal Bar Association and the Fresno County Bar Association. He holds certification as a Criminal Law Specialist from the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a member of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
