About Rebecca
Rebecca Ding-Lee trained in both China and the United States before establishing her legal practice in Alabama. She earned an M.A. from Central China Normal University School of Law in 1999 and continued her studies at the University of Alabama School of Law, receiving an LL.M. in 2001. Those years of academic work gave her exposure to different legal traditions and methods of legal analysis.
After completing her LL.M., Ding-Lee moved into legal practice in Alabama. She became a member of the Alabama State Bar in 2011 and since then has maintained active memberships in several professional organizations. Her affiliations include the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, the Mobile Bar Association and the American Bar Association — all listed as current since 2011.
Her practice is conducted through Ding-Lee Law LLC. She participates in the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, offering services to clients who qualify for that assistance. Membership in the Mobile Bar Association reflects regular work within the local court system and community legal affairs. The combination of private practice and volunteer work marks much of her professional life since bar admission.
Ding-Lee’s academic background spans two legal cultures. That education informs how she approaches client matters and legal research.
