About Sean

Sean Hampton earned both his Juris Doctor and his MBA from the University of Alabama in 2005, completing the law and business program at the Manderson Graduate School of Business. He combined legal study with graduate business training. That dual path shaped how he approaches client matters and classroom teaching later on.

After law school he joined the Alabama State Bar in 2005. He became a member of the Mississippi Bar in 2013. Those admissions allowed him to work on matters that cross state lines and to build a practice that serves clients in both jurisdictions. He has maintained active membership in both bars since those admissions.

Early in his career he spent time in the academic setting. In 2008 he served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Alabama. There he taught courses that drew on his combined background in law and business. Students remember him for practical lessons and an emphasis on real-world problem solving.

His professional base is Hampton Law Offices. Over the years he has handled a range of engagements for individuals and businesses. He has experience managing cases that require attention to regulatory issues, contractual disputes and transactional matters. He also conducts client counseling and negotiation work that calls for both legal judgment and business sense.

Hampton’s practice sits at the intersection of law and commerce. He represents clients in state matters across Alabama and Mississippi. He is comfortable appearing before administrative bodies and handling filings in state courts. His academic experience informs how he explains legal options to clients and how he prepares for hearings and negotiations.

Outside the office he retains ties to legal communities in both states through bar membership and occasional speaking engagements. He keeps current on developments that affect businesses and individuals operating across Alabama and Mississippi. Colleagues say he prefers practical solutions and clear communication over technical jargon.

He continues to work at Hampton Law Offices, where he handles matters for clients in Alabama and Mississippi. His current practice focuses on representing clients in state-level legal and business matters.
