About Paul-Michael

Paul-Michael Dusek built a layered academic foundation before entering the practice of law. He earned a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2015. Before that he completed a Master of Arts in American History at Southern Methodist University in 2008. His undergraduate work at Texas A&M University — West Texas A&M University culminated in a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy in 2005.

After law school, Dusek gained admission to practice in Texas and secured admission to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Those credentials have allowed him to appear in both state and federal forums. He has also remained active in local and statewide legal organizations, holding memberships in the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, the Brazoria County Bar Association and the Fort Bend County Bar Association. He is involved with the Houston Young Lawyer Foundation as well.

His background in history informs how he evaluates facts and frames legal arguments. The study of historical context and philosophical reasoning shows up in courtroom strategy and written work. Outside the classroom and courthouse, Dusek has a long-standing association with the Boy Scouts of America; he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and maintains membership in the Order of the Arrow. That early civic involvement continues to influence his professional life.

Colleagues describe Dusek as methodical and practical in his approach. He prepares for hearings and trials by breaking complex issues into manageable parts. He has worked on matters that require attention to procedural detail and an ability to present a clear narrative to judges and juries. His memberships in multiple county bar associations reflect steady engagement with regional legal communities and continuing professional education.

Today, Dusek practices in Texas and appears in the Southern District of Texas when federal court is necessary. He handles matters in both state and federal courts and draws on his academic training and bar involvement when advising clients and preparing litigation. His current practice focuses on representation in state and federal legal proceedings.
