About Mike

Mike Streich took a steady path into Texas law. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2011 and began building courtroom and transactional experience soon after. He is admitted to practice in Texas.

He started his legal career as an associate at Royston, Rayzor, Vickery & Williams, LLP in 2011. That early stint was interrupted in 2014 when he moved in-house as legal counsel for EMAS AMC, Inc. He returned to private practice the next year, rejoining Royston, Rayzor, Vickery & Williams as an associate in 2015.

Streich moved to Phelps Dunbar, LLP as an associate in 2016. He rose to partner there in 2020. Those years included litigation assignments and client counseling across several civil matters. The record shows a steady progression of responsibility, from junior associate tasks to leadership roles on case teams.

His work history spans both law firm and corporate settings. That range has given him exposure to courtroom procedures, pretrial preparation and negotiations. Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who understands both the business stakes and the procedural demands of litigation. He has practiced in Texas throughout his career and handled matters that required familiarity with state court processes.

Today Streich is associated with Zehl & Associates Injury & Accident Lawyers in Houston. The firm listing ties his current work to personal injury and accident cases. In that capacity he represents clients who have been injured in collisions and other incidents that lead to physical harm and financial loss.

He maintains a practical approach to case work. He prepares for trials when necessary and pursues settlements when they serve a client’s interests. His background in both firm and in-house roles informs how he evaluates risk and structures claims.

Outside of specific case work, Streich’s trajectory reflects steady advancement. He moved from entry-level associate roles through in-house counsel responsibilities to partnership, and then into a practice focused on injury and accident law in Houston. He continues to practice in Texas, handling personal injury and accident matters in the Houston area.
