About Paul L
Paul L Jenkins built a foundation in politics and law before turning to practice. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and Communication from Stonehill College in 1996 and later received his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2004. Those credentials set a steady course for a career that bridges client advocacy and regional practice management.
He began his legal work in private practice in the mid-2000s. In 2005 he joined Topkins & Bevans Lawyers at Law as an associate. A year later he moved to The Social Security Law Group, LLP. There he handled client representation and the day-to-day demands of administrative claims. By 2010 he was named Lead Lawyer for the firm’s Southeastern U.S. region, a role that combined casework with supervision of regional operations.
The next stage of his career shifted toward broader civil litigation and healthcare-related matters. In 2017 Jenkins became a senior associate at Doherty Cella Keane, LLP, where he worked on matters that drew on his background in administrative law and client advocacy. That role preceded his elevation to partner at Morrison & Hughes in 2018, a move that placed him in firm leadership and expanded his docket across state lines.
Jenkins is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Georgia. Over the years he has handled Social Security claims, administrative hearings, and appeals, and he has guided clients through procedural challenges at the agency level. His experience includes courtroom appearances, disability claim preparation, and drafting briefs for federal review. He has also overseen teams of attorneys and support staff while coordinating multi-jurisdictional matters for clients in the Southeast.
He is currently a partner at Morrison & Hughes. He splits his time between casework and supervising other lawyers at the firm, and represents clients in Social Security and administrative law matters across Georgia and Massachusetts. His current practice focuses on Social Security claims, administrative hearings, and appeals.
