About Frank H.
Frank H. Carter returned to formal study of the law after more than a decade following his undergraduate degree. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Georgia in 1994. He later attended the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University and earned his Juris Doctor in 2010. Those dual steps laid a foundation for a career rooted in courtroom work and client representation.
Carter built his practice in Georgia and now serves as a partner at Carter, Carter, & Carter, Lawyers At Law, LLC. His partnership role ties him to a small-firm environment where attorneys often handle a broad mix of matters. He has been a member of professional organizations that reflect the range of his practice. Since 2011 he has belonged to the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He joined the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2015 and remains active in that group.
Those memberships mirror the subjects he most commonly handles. His work spans criminal defense, consumer bankruptcy, and Social Security disability claims. In criminal cases he appears for people charged in state court. In bankruptcy matters he represents debtors in consumer proceedings and advises on options under federal bankruptcy law. He also assists claimants navigating administrative appeals and hearings before the Social Security Administration.
Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward and practical. He prioritizes clear explanation of legal options and the likely consequences of different courses of action. In court he takes a results-oriented posture, prepared to negotiate when settlement is sensible and to litigate when necessary. The mix of adversary trial work and administrative advocacy keeps his practice varied.
Outside of casework he maintains ties to the professional community through continuing legal education and association participation. He has kept membership in national groups since 2011 and expanded into state criminal defense circles in 2015. Those links help him stay current on changes in bankruptcy law and Social Security rules, as well as evolving practices in state criminal litigation.
Carter practices in Georgia and handles criminal defense, consumer bankruptcy, and Social Security disability matters as part of his current work.
