About Paul F.
Paul F. Wieneskie built his legal foundation at Baylor. He earned a B.A. in law and business at Baylor University and went on to receive a J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1982. Those years framed the start of a career that moved between municipal service, appellate work and private practice.
Early in his career he worked as a briefing lawyer for the Hon. Connally McKay at the Twelfth Court of Appeals in Tyler. He served as an associate city lawyer for the City of Euless in 1982 and later took on the role of city lawyer for the City of Richland Hills in 1987. In the mid-1980s he also spent time in private practice in Arlington, including an association listed with Cribbs & McFarland in 1983.
He has maintained ties to the local bar for several decades. He served as a director of the Arlington Bar from 1989 to 1992, moved on to be president-elect in 1992–1993, and then served as president during 1993–1994. Those leadership roles put him in regular contact with municipal officials and other attorneys across Tarrant County.
Appellate work became a defining element of his practice. He earned board certification in Civil Appellate Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1994. He is admitted to practice in Texas and in several federal forums, including the Fifth and Ninth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. His background includes preparing appellate briefs and handling matters that require careful review of trial records and legal precedent.
Throughout his career he has moved between public legal work and private practice. Office listings identify him with Bailey & Galyen Lawyers at Law. His experience spans the practical tasks of city lawyering and the technical demands of appellate advocacy. He maintains a practice that concentrates on civil appellate matters.
