About Parke A

Parke A Burmeister built a foundation in government studies before turning to the law. He graduated from Colby College in 1996 with a B.A. in Government and later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in 2010. Those academic years set the stage for a practice that crosses state lines and legal disciplines.

After law school, Burmeister established a practice grounded in the New England legal landscape. He is licensed to practice in Maine and Massachusetts, and he has handled matters that require familiarity with both states’ procedures and courtroom cultures. Over time he has moved between transactional work and courtroom advocacy as client needs required, gaining practical experience in a variety of settings.

Colleagues and clients describe Burmeister as pragmatic and detail-oriented. He approaches cases by assessing the legal issues and the practical stakes for the people involved. That approach has informed how he manages files, prepares filings and negotiates on behalf of clients. He maintains current professional memberships and stays engaged with developments in regional law.

Burmeister’s practice method is straightforward. He aims to identify the key legal questions quickly, then maps a path toward resolution. That can mean pursuing litigation, attempting negotiated settlements, or advising clients on preventive steps. He adapts those choices to the circumstances of each matter rather than applying a single technique to every file.

Casco Bay Law, LLC is where he practices today. The firm’s location anchors him in Maine while permitting regular work tied to Massachusetts matters as well. He represents individuals and entities in filings, hearings and transactional matters that require counsel admitted in both states.

Outside the office, Burmeister’s background in government and his years in regional practice inform his work. He draws on that background when cases touch on regulatory or institutional issues. He also pays attention to the procedural differences that matter most to clients who face legal processes in more than one jurisdiction.

He currently practices at Casco Bay Law, LLC, providing representation and counsel for matters arising in Maine and Massachusetts.
