About Ryan P.

Ryan P. McClure earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. He arrived in practice after completing the J.D. program and has since worked in both private firms and employee advocacy settings across New England.

Early in his career McClure spent time at organizations that represent workers. In 2018 he held lawyer positions at the New Hampshire Employee Rights Group and the Maine Employee Rights Group. That same year he also worked at Peter Thompson & Associates. Those roles placed him on the front lines of employment issues and small-firm litigation. He took on client counseling, administrative matters and courtroom work as part of those positions.

By 2022 McClure had joined Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer. His time there expanded his exposure to firm practice and federal-court work. He is admitted in Maine and New Hampshire and also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maine and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Those admissions allow him to handle cases that move from state forums into federal court.

Colleagues describe McClure as practical and straightforward in how he approaches cases. He tends to break complex problems into clear steps for clients. In office and at the courthouse he focuses on advocating for individuals and businesses facing disputes over employment and related matters. His background in employee rights organizations gives him particular familiarity with administrative procedures and agency hearings, while his firm experience adds a commercial perspective.

McClure’s routine work includes drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and preparing witnesses for deposition and trial. He handles regulatory filings and interacts with opposing counsel on settlement negotiations. He also spends time advising clients on compliance and risk mitigation so disputes can be resolved before they escalate.

Outside the courtroom he has been involved in case preparation and legal research that support trial teams. He has navigated both state and federal rules of procedure and evidence in the course of litigation. Those practical skills inform how he assesses cases and sets litigation strategy.

He currently represents clients at Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer, where he handles employment-related matters and litigation across state and federal courts.
