About Nicholas M.
Nicholas M. Krayer earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 2003 and completed his J.D. at Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2006. He finished law school the same year he first entered public practice. The sequence of degrees is straightforward, and the timeline is early and steady.
Fresh out of law school, Krayer took a position in public service. In 2006 he served as a Deputy Child Advocate for the State of Delaware, listed as a Deputy Lawyer General. That role placed him in the state system early in his career and gave him experience handling legal matters on behalf of vulnerable clients.
After several years in government work, Krayer moved into private practice. In 2010 he joined Tybout, Redfearn & Pell as an associate. His time at the firm exposed him to courtroom procedures and firm-based litigation practice. He handled cases that required coordination with opposing counsel, preparation for hearings, and written advocacy.
Krayer has been active in the professional community throughout his career. He holds continuous membership in the Delaware State Bar Association since 2006. Nationally, he belongs to the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice, both memberships dating back to the early 2010s. He is involved in organizations tied to trial and workers’ compensation practice, including membership in the Randy J. Holland Delaware Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court and participation in the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
Leadership roles have become a prominent part of his professional profile. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and is the association’s current president. Those positions reflect the regard of colleagues who have elected him to governance roles and to oversee programming for trial lawyers across the state.
Colleagues describe Krayer’s career path as a mix of public service and private practice, threaded together by steady involvement in bar activities and professional groups. He continues to practice in Delaware and engages in association work that shapes local practice standards. He practices in Delaware, handling workers’ compensation and civil litigation matters.
