About Ms. Vildan A

Ms. Teske began her legal career over 25 years ago, focusing on consumer class actions. Since then, she has litigated numerous state and national class actions, representing consumers against major corporations and various businesses. Her experience includes cases involving violations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), deceptive trade practices, consumer fraud, and usury. Additionally, she has handled breach of contract disputes, federal and state consumer lending statute violations, warranty issues, breaches of fiduciary duties, illegal debt collection practices, and foreclosure issues. In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Teske has made significant contributions to public service and legal education.

In 2017, she testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee regarding the impact of recent Supreme Court decisions on consumers, servicemembers, and employees. Her involvement with the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) includes serving on the National Steering Committee for the Military Consumer Justice Project. Furthermore, U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken appointed her to their Federal Judicial Selection Commission during 2016-2017, underscoring her influence in the legal community. Throughout her career, Ms. Teske has received numerous accolades that reflect her dedication and expertise.

In 2015, she was selected as the national recipient of the Federal Bar Association’s Robyn J. Spalter Outstanding Achievement Award. Since that year, she has been recognized as a SuperLawyer by Minnesota SuperLawyer Magazine, and she has maintained this status each year since. Additionally, she has been honored as a Top 100 Minnesota Lawyer and a Top 50 Women Lawyer for three consecutive years, starting in 2018. Ms. Teske is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the Federal Bar Association, and the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Georgia State Bar Association.

Her leadership roles include serving as an officer on the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Consumer Litigation Section Council since 2018 and chairing the MSBA’s Military and Veterans Affairs Section during the 2019-2020 term. As a founding partner of Teske Law, PLLP, located at 80 South Eighth Street, Suite 900, Minneapolis, MN 55402, Ms. Teske continues to focus on consumer class actions and related areas of law. Her firm is dedicated to advocating for consumers and ensuring their rights are protected against corporate misconduct. With her experience and commitment to public service, Ms. Teske remains a prominent figure in the field of consumer advocacy.
