About Michelle

Michelle Dempsky earned her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College before completing her J.D. at Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2013. She entered law school intent on practicing in the region where she grew up. The classroom at Temple exposed her to courtroom procedure and client counseling, and she carried those lessons into the early years of her practice.

After law school she was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and secured admission to federal courts in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Those credentials have formed the backbone of a career spent largely on matters that require both state and federal court familiarity. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she breaks problems into manageable parts and works through them steadily.

Her work covers a range of civil litigation tasks. She handles pretrial motions, discovery disputes and client interviews. She also appears in court on hearings and contested motions. That mix of responsibilities has given her experience drafting pleadings and preparing witnesses. She often works on cases that demand coordination among counsel, expert witnesses and opposing parties.

Treating legal work as a craft, she prepares carefully. She places emphasis on factual development and on clear writing. Her files typically show a focus on procedural strategy and on building records that will stand up under scrutiny. She balances courtroom advocacy with the preparatory work that underlies persuasive argument. The result is a practice style that is steady rather than theatrical, geared to results that come from sustained effort.

She is currently of counsel at Kraemer, Manes, & Associates, where she contributes to the firm’s civil litigation matters. At the firm she handles both state and federal cases and supports a range of clients. Outside the office she maintains professional ties in the legal community in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She continues to handle litigation in the federal and state systems and accepts matters that align with her litigation practice.

Her current practice focuses on civil litigation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including matters in the federal courts where she is admitted to practice.
