About Michael

Before establishing his legal practice in Rhode Island, Michael successfully passed the California Bar Exam on his first attempt in 1979. Following this achievement, he joined a personal injury firm in Beverly Hills, where he gained inexperience in the field of law. In 1980, Michael made the decision to relocate to Rhode Island, where he again passed the Rhode Island Bar Exam on his first try. This accomplishment allowed him to practice law in the state, adding to his legal career. Throughout his extensive legal career, Michael has handled a diverse array of cases — His practice encompasses automobile accidents, products liability, legal malpractice, and false arrest.

He has also represented clients in head-on collisions, trucking crashes, slip and falls, fire losses, and wrongful death cases. Additionally, Michael has tackled employment claims, business disputes, real estate litigation, and subrogation cases — His experience extends to criminal defense as well. Clients have come to him with a variety of injuries, including back and neck pain, head trauma, brain injuries, fractures, burns, and even gunshot and stab wounds. Many have also suffered from PTSD as a result of their experiences. In addition to his legal practice, Michael has been actively involved in various professional organizations.

Notably, he served as the President of the Rhode Island Association for Justice during the 2022–2023 term. This organization is the state affiliate of the American Association for Justice and represents Rhode Island’s largest group of lawyers dedicated to advocating for injured persons and their families. His leadership in this role shows his commitment to the legal profession and to supporting those in need. Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College in 1976, followed by his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in 1979. He is admitted to practice law in both Rhode Island and California, showcasing his versatility and broad legal knowledge.
