Michael A. Mastracci earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1982. He continued his legal education at the University of Baltimore School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1986. His academic path combined an interest in public affairs with formal legal training, preparing him for both courtroom work and alternative dispute resolution.
He began practicing law in the late 1980s. By 1989 he was working at Mastracci and Mastracci PA, where he handled a range of matters that reflected the professional memberships he maintains today. In 2000 he opened the Law Office of Michael A. Mastracci, LLC and took on the title of lawyer and mediator. That move marked a shift toward a practice that blends advocacy and negotiated solutions.
