About Avigayil
Avigayil Pearlman earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Baltimore in 2015 and returned to the same school for her law degree, receiving her J.D. in 2017. Her time in law school included practical courtroom experience. As a Rule 16 student lawyer at the Bronfein Family Law Clinic she handled matters on behalf of clients under clinic supervision. She also completed a judicial externship early on as a law clerk for Magistrate Hope Tipton in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Her career after graduation moved quickly into practice. In 2017 she joined Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. as an associate lawyer. She handled client matters, drafted pleadings and appeared on behalf of clients in hearings. By 2021 she was listed as a lawyer at the Law Offices of Thomas Stahl, where she continued to practice and to refine courtroom and negotiation skills. Those positions built on the clinic experience and the clerkship, exposing her to both contested litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Pearlman maintains bar eligibility in Maryland and the District of Columbia and holds membership in the Maryland State Bar. Her training includes the Maryland Best Interest Lawyer Training offered through the Maryland State Bar Association and an Introductory Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce Training from the Institute for Family Conflict Resolution. Those credentials reflect an emphasis on issues that commonly arise in family law cases, including child welfare considerations and collaborative approaches to resolving disputes. Her work history shows repeated involvement in family law settings, from the university clinic through private practice.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in legal research and attentive in client interviews. She has experience preparing cases for hearings, conducting discovery, and participating in settlement discussions. That mix of court-facing work and collaborative problem solving characterizes much of her practice. She continues to handle matters that touch on divorce, custody, support and related family law concerns. Pearlman currently practices at the Law Offices of Thomas Stahl and focuses her work on family law matters, including divorce and child custody.
