About Maximilian T
Maximilian T Hass completed undergraduate study at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied cognitive science and music and earned a B.A. He went on to attend Tulane University School of Law, receiving a J.D. while engaging in coursework in entertainment law, copyright and trademark law. His academic interests sit at the intersection of intellectual property and creative practice, a thread that runs through both his studies and his later work.
After law school he gained practical experience in a variety of settings. He served as a summer associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP in 2014 and worked on intellectual property matters during an internship at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center in 2013. He also took part in the Entertainment Law Legal Assistance Project in 2013, which exposed him to transactional and rights-related issues in the creative industries. Early contract work at Napper Law and later at Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert gave him courtroom and transactional perspective.
Hass moved into roles that combined legal work with artist management and business operations. In 2015 he acted as principal, artist manager and booking agent for Action Potential Entertainment, later founding the company formally in 2017 and managing it through its early years. He has experience building and running small entertainment enterprises while advising artists on contracts and rights. In 2019 he established Hass Law, LLC and has handled matters that overlap entertainment business practice and intellectual property.
In 2019 he also served as an associate lawyer at Egenberg Trial Lawyers, APLC, gaining trial-side exposure. In 2020 he joined Parlatore Law Group, LLP as counsel. Those roles reflect a mix of boutique and firm-side practice, combining hands-on client work with litigation and transactional assignments. He maintains memberships in professional bar groups, including the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the First Judicial District Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association, indicating ongoing engagement with the legal communities where he practices.
Hass is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York and Louisiana. His work has centered on issues that affect creators and rights holders: copyright questions, trademark matters and contract negotiation for artists and small enterprises. He has handled both transactional agreements and litigation-related tasks, often translating technical rights issues into practical business terms for clients.
He currently serves as counsel at Parlatore Law Group, LLP and continues to operate Hass Law, LLC, the practice he founded in 2019. His current practice concentrates on entertainment and intellectual property matters across Colorado, New York and Louisiana.
