About Matthew R.
Matthew R. Hindley built his legal foundation in the Northeast. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lehigh University in 2005, having begun his undergraduate studies in 2001. He went on to Widener University Delaware School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2011 after enrolling in 2008.
His entry into the legal profession came early and practical. While completing his undergraduate degree he worked as a paralegal at White and Williams LLP in 2005. During law school he took on a summer internship at the Philadelphia District Lawyer's Office in 2009 and served as a judicial extern for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas in 2010. Those positions gave him experience on both the prosecutorial and judicial sides of the courthouse.
After law school he worked as a contract lawyer for Special Counsel in 2011. He later joined Marks, O'Neill, O'Brien, Doherty & Kelly, P.C. as a lawyer in 2015, where he spent several years handling matters for a variety of clients. In 2018 he moved to Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, where he continued his practice as a lawyer.
Hindley is licensed in multiple jurisdictions across the Mid-Atlantic. He holds admission in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He maintains membership in the Delaware State Bar Association.
Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and attentive at the office. He has balanced trial and pretrial work, drawing on years of courtroom exposure that began during his internships and externship. His practice has involved matters that required appearances in both state and federal courts across several jurisdictions.
Today he is based at Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP. He represents clients in state and federal matters across the region and continues to work out of the firm's offices handling litigation and related courtroom proceedings.
