About Matthew A
Matthew A Dolman built a career that moves from newsroom desks to courtroom benches. He earned a B.S. in communications from Ithaca College in 1999, where he studied print journalism and screenwriting. He then completed a J.D. at Stetson University College of Law in 2003.
Before law school he worked in media and production. He wrote about sports for The Miami Hurricane in 1997, and gained hands-on production experience as an assistant producer for Ithaca College Television and later as a production assistant on the Donny & Marie Show. Those early roles shaped his attention to detail and his capacity to manage complex projects under deadline.
Dolman moved into law practice after law school. He served as a law clerk at Whitson and Whitson in 2002. In 2004 he joined Richard Martin Management as in-house legal counsel. That same year he became a member of the Florida Bar and began practicing in Florida.
By 2005 he was a partner at Dolman & Berman, P.A., a role that marked his transition into firm leadership. In 2008 he spent time with Walker Law Group, and in 2009 he became a partner and shareholder at Dolman Law Group. Over the years he has balanced courtroom work with the administrative demands of running a law firm.
He maintains memberships in a range of professional and civic organizations. He has been active in the Florida Justice Association and the American Association for Justice. He is listed with the Florida Bar and belongs to the Clearwater Bar Association. His civic ties extend to the Democratic National Committee and the Ithaca College Alumni Association.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and practical in approach. His background in journalism and production appears in how he assembles cases and prepares witnesses. He has built a practice grounded in litigation and in navigating state court procedures in Florida.
He currently practices at Dolman Law Group, handling civil litigation matters in Florida.
