About M. Elizabeth

M. Elizabeth Graham began her legal path at St. John’s University, earning an undergraduate degree in 1987 and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1989. She entered the profession at a time when federal practice was expanding in scope. The coursework and clinics she completed at law school laid a foundation for courtroom practice and appellate work.

Early in her career Graham moved into litigation that took her beyond state lines. She is admitted to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court and maintains admission in multiple federal circuits. Those credentials have allowed her to handle matters in trial courts and on appeal. Over time she built experience in handling complex civil matters that require coordination across jurisdictions.

Graham’s admissions include the California bar and a series of federal courts: the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Central and Eastern Districts of California. She is also admitted in the 1st, 4th, 5th and 9th Circuits. That range of admissions reflects a practice accustomed to both district-court proceedings and appellate briefing. She has taken filings and arguments through multi-district and circuit-level processes when cases have required it.

She has been active in professional organizations that concentrate on mass tort and plaintiff-side litigation. Her memberships include Mass Torts Made Perfect and the American Association for Justice. Within AAJ, she has been listed as a participant in the Zofran Litigation Group and on the Publications Committee. Those involvements have kept her engaged with developments in mass-tort strategy, expert use and complex pleading practices.

Graham’s practice is based at Grant Eisenhofer P.A., where she works on matters that often involve multiple plaintiffs, expert testimony and layered federal procedures. Colleagues describe her as steady in court and thorough in case development. She spends time preparing appellate briefs, coordinating discovery across districts and consulting with experts when technical issues arise.

Across more than three decades in the law she has combined courtroom work with the professional networking that comes from circuit and specialty-group admissions. That combination has shaped a practice comfortable in both trial settings and appellate dockets. She continues to practice at Grant Eisenhofer P.A., focusing on complex civil litigation and mass-tort matters.
