About Leslie

Leslie Copeland arrived at law through a steady, practical path. She earned her Juris Doctor from William H. Bowen School of Law in 2014 after completing her studies there beginning in 2011. The classroom years sharpened her understanding of litigation and dispute resolution. They also set the stage for a career anchored in Arkansas courts and community organizations.

She is admitted to practice in Arkansas and has been active in local and state bar groups since completing law school. Copeland joined the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers in 2014. That same year she became a member of the Arkansas Association of Trial Lawyers. A year later she added membership in the Washington County Bar Association. Those memberships reflect steady involvement in the legal profession across multiple levels of the state bar landscape.

Early in her career she gravitated toward courtroom work and negotiated settlements. Her participation in trial lawyer circles and her eventual establishment of a practice that includes mediation show a dual interest: advocacy and resolving disputes outside the courtroom. Colleagues describe her approach as practical and methodical. She tends to press the strongest points of a case and to seek resolution when the facts and law allow.

Copeland has balanced courtroom preparation with efforts to resolve conflicts through mediation. She has developed a routine that combines document-intensive case work, depositions and hearings, and structured mediation sessions. That mix of activities has shaped the services she offers clients, from case assessment to trial strategy and mediated settlements.

She operates a practice through Leslie Copeland Law & Mediation. The firm name signals the two main tracks of her work: litigation and alternative dispute resolution. In court she appears on behalf of individual clients. In mediation she helps parties explore settlement options and streamline outcomes that might otherwise drag on in litigation.

Outside of casework she keeps ties to the bar associations that have framed much of her professional life. Regular attendance at local bar events and continuing legal education has kept her connected to peers and developments in Arkansas law. Her memberships also provide forums for exchanging practical strategies and for staying current on procedural updates.

She currently practices at Leslie Copeland Law & Mediation, handling litigation and mediation matters across Arkansas.
