About Katie

Katie Freeman earned her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Arkansas in 2011. She continued at the University of Arkansas School of Law and completed her J.D. in 2014. Those years in Fayetteville shaped her interest in the practical side of law. She moved from study to practice in the same state where she had completed her education.

Since finishing law school, Freeman has practiced in Arkansas. She holds membership in the State Bar of Arkansas, the Washington County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. Those memberships reflect steady involvement in the state’s legal community and regular contact with local judges and court staff.

Freeman is a Certified Lawyer Ad Litem (Domestic Relations/Probate), a credential issued by the Administrative Office of the Courts. That certification authorizes her to represent children and incapacitated persons in domestic relations and probate matters. It also requires training and adherence to the standards the courts expect from ad litem counsel.

Her work spans the family law and probate dockets. In family court she has handled custody and visitation matters, child support questions and contested divorce issues. In probate she has represented personal representatives and beneficiaries, and she has acted in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. She appears in county courts and in circuit court as the cases require.

Freeman stays involved at the local level. She remains an active member of the Washington County Bar Association and participates in events and continuing legal education that the State Bar and the Arkansas Bar Association organize. That engagement keeps her current on procedural changes and helps her coordinate with other local practitioners.

She practices at ARlaw Partners, PLLC, where she handles matters that commonly arise in domestic relations and probate settings. Her daily work includes client counseling, preparation of pleadings and courtroom appearances in Arkansas counties. She continues to represent clients across the state and to serve as an ad litem when appointed by the courts. Her current practice concentrates on family law and probate matters.
