About Lawrence
Lawrence Signore graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law in 1998. He entered the legal field at a time when regional practice demanded both courtroom experience and familiarity with state systems. That training year and the years that followed set the stage for a career that moves between clerkship and private practice.
Early in his career he served as a judicial law clerk at the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court in 2002, assigned through the Rhode Island Supreme Court. The position gave him a close view of administrative hearings, evidentiary questions, and the mechanics of adjudicating workplace claims. After that year in the public sector he shifted into law firm practice, taking associate roles that exposed him to a range of civil matters.
From 2003 he worked as an associate at Morrison Mahoney LLP and then moved in 2005 to Kelly Kelleher Reilly & Simpson LLP. He became a partner at Sullivan Signore Whitehaed & DeLuca LLP in 2008. Those years cover a mix of litigation and client counseling across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In 2011 he opened his own practice under the Law Offices Of Lawrence J. Signore and has maintained that practice since.
Signore maintains active memberships in both the Massachusetts State Bar and the Rhode Island Bar Association, each listing him as a member since 2002. That dual-state affiliation reflects the geographic scope of many of his engagements. He has handled casework in state courts in both jurisdictions and been involved in procedural and trial matters that require coordination across state lines.
His courtroom background and early clerkship inform how he prepares cases. He approaches evidentiary and procedural issues with an eye to how judges manage disputes. Colleagues describe him as thorough in preparing files and direct in courtroom presentations. Clients encounter a lawyer who moves steadily through pretrial work and hearings, and who often handles administrative claims related to workplace injuries.
Over the years Signore has balanced private practice responsibilities with the demands of regional litigation. He has continued to take clients through contested proceedings, settlement negotiations, and administrative hearings. He practices in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, where he is admitted to the bar.
He currently practices at the Law Offices Of Lawrence J. Signore, handling workers' compensation claims, civil litigation, and related matters in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
