About Lauren A
Lauren A Wimmer built a steady legal path through New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts. She returned to Rutgers-Camden for law school after undergraduate studies in psychology, earning her J.D. in 2011. Before that she studied at Boston University and completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Rutgers University–Camden in 2007.
Her early legal work mixed private practice and court-side experience. In 2013 she worked as a law clerk at Zarwin Baum, where she encountered criminal matters that would shape her career. The following year she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rose Marie DeFino-Nastasi in the Court of Common Pleas, Trial Division — Criminal (Homicide). That clerkship put her inside serious felony dockets and offered sustained exposure to homicide trials and pretrial litigation.
In 2017 she opened Wimmer Criminal Defense and listed herself as lawyer and principal.
