About Kirk Matthew
Kirk Matthew Anderson earned his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2004 after completing a B.S. in Mass Communications and Political Science at St. Cloud State University in 2000. He entered the legal profession in the mid-2000s and has since practiced in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
He began his career as an associate at Westrick & McDowall-Nix, PLLP in 2005. That early period gave him hands-on courtroom experience and regular client contact. He worked on files alongside more senior attorneys and handled day-to-day litigation tasks and client communications.
In 2008 he was associated with Adkins & Anderson, Chartered. Three years later he moved into partnership at Anderson & McCormick, PA. Those years involved more responsibility for case strategy and office management. He split time between advising clients and overseeing aspects of firm operations.
In 2012 he launched Anderson Law Office, PLLC and took on the role of owner. Running a small firm required balancing casework with administrative duties. He has continued to lead the practice through changes in the legal market and the regulatory environment. His work has spanned client intake, legal research, negotiation, and litigation tasks customary to a private practice setting.
Anderson is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He maintains professional affiliations and holds current membership in bar-related organizations. Colleagues describe him as someone who moves between the courtroom and the office with an eye for practical solutions and steady case management.
Over the years he has handled matters that reflect the realities of practicing in two adjoining states. His career path shows steady progression from associate to partner and finally to firm owner. As of 2026 he leads Anderson Law Office, PLLC, representing clients in both Minnesota and Wisconsin through the firm and managing its daily operations.
He practices from Anderson Law Office, PLLC and represents clients across matters in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
