About Kendra

Kendra Craft studied English at the University of Kentucky before returning to campus for law school. She earned a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Her academic background in literature and law shaped a style of clear writing and attention to detail that she carries into client work.

After law school Craft was admitted to practice in Kentucky and began her career at Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers. She joined the firm as a lawyer and has worked on cases handled by the firm's personal injury practice. Her role has involved advising clients, preparing pleadings and pursuing claims on behalf of people injured in accidents.

Craft holds current membership in professional organizations that serve lawyers in Kentucky. She participates in the networks and continuing education opportunities those groups provide. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and practical in managing client expectations.

Her practice centers on personal injury matters. She represents individuals who have been hurt and seeks recovery through negotiation and, when necessary, litigation. She spends time both preparing cases for settlement talks and assembling the factual record needed for trial. Craft is comfortable managing the procedural steps of civil lawsuits, from filing claims to discovery and motion practice.

Clients working with Craft can expect detailed case reviews and plainspoken explanations of legal options. She writes regularly for case files and correspondence, drawing on her undergraduate training in English to communicate clearly. That emphasis on clear writing extends to communications with opposing counsel, insurance representatives and judges.

Colleagues at Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers handle a range of inquiries across the firm’s offices. Craft is part of that team environment and coordinates with other lawyers on complex matters. She is also involved in the ongoing professional development that the firm and bar organizations provide.

Outside of litigation work, Craft monitors changes in Kentucky civil procedure and damages law that affect injured people. She attends educational programs and applies that learning directly in case strategy. Currently she practices at Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, representing clients in personal injury cases and managing matters across the firms offices.
