About Keith
Keith Bradley pairs a scientific background with years inside government and private practice. He earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007 after earlier graduate work in physics and applied mathematics. His academic path includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley (1996), a CAS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge (1995), and a B.A. in Physics from the University of Chicago (1992).
Bradley launched his legal career in the federal courts. He clerked for Judge Janice Rogers Brown on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in 2007. That role led to an associate position at WilmerHale in 2008. He then served as a law clerk to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2010, a formative experience that exposed him to high-stakes appellate work and complex federal questions.
After his clerkships and a stint in private practice, Bradley moved into public service. In 2012 he joined the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as counsel, handling regulatory and enforcement matters. He later worked at the U.S. Department of Energy as a senior advisor in 2014, where scientific training and legal training intersected in policy work. Bradley shifted into in-house practice in 2017 as senior counsel to RE/MAX, LLC and Motto Franchising, LLC, advising on corporate and franchise-related legal issues.
In 2018 he became a partner at Squire Patton Boggs. His career path cuts across litigation, regulatory work and corporate law. That variety reflects earlier academic pursuits in physics and applied mathematics, which colleagues say shaped a methodical approach to complex problems.
Bradley is admitted in New York, Colorado and the District of Columbia. He joined the New York bar in 2008, the Colorado bar in 2016 and the D.C. bar in 2018. Those admissions support a practice that moves between federal regulatory work, state-level matters and commercial disputes.
His background blends scientific research and legal training. That combination shows in matters that require technical analysis alongside legal judgment. He has worked inside federal agencies, in-house at national franchisors, and in private firm settings. The result is a practice informed by government process, corporate considerations and appellate experience.
He is a partner at Squire Patton Boggs, where he concentrates on consumer financial regulation, energy policy, franchising and related corporate matters.
