About Michael
Michael Rollin has built a career that began in local law enforcement and moved steadily into complex courtroom work. He served as a deputy sheriff and sergeant at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in the mid-1990s before entering law school. That early public-safety experience gives him a practical perspective he still brings to legal matters.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Colorado Denver in 2000 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2003. Those years set the foundation for a practice that spans state and federal forums.
Rollin started his legal career as an associate at Arnold & Porter in 2003. Two years later he joined Reilly Pozner LLP as a partner. He moved on to ROLLIN BRASWELL FISHER LLC (RBF Law) as a partner in 2015, then joined Fox Rothschild LLP as a partner in 2018. In 2020 he became a partner at Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher. In the same year he returned to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law as an adjunct professor, teaching law students while maintaining his private practice.
Over the years Rollin has litigated in multiple state and federal courts. He holds admissions in Colorado, California and New York, and he is admitted to a range of federal district and circuit courts. His courtroom experience includes appearances in several U.S. District Courts and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, as well as filings in the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th and 10th Circuits. He has litigated matters in districts that include Colorado, New York, California, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arkansas, Texas and Florida.
Colleagues describe him as a practitioner comfortable in both contested court settings and the procedural demands of multi-district litigation. He maintains active membership in the Colorado State Bar. His career path reflects movement between larger national firms and regional practices, a pattern that has given him exposure to different case types and client profiles.
Today at Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher Rollin handles matters that span trial practice and insolvency proceedings, representing clients in state, federal and bankruptcy courts across multiple jurisdictions. His current practice focuses on litigation and insolvency matters across state and federal courts.
