About Katrell
Katrell Nash began her path to the law at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts. She continued her legal education at Mississippi College School of Law and received a Juris Doctor before entering practice in the Southeast.
Her professional life centers on running a small law firm. Nash is the owner of NASH LAW OFFICE, LLC. She is admitted to practice in both Mississippi and Georgia and has maintained active roles in bar and civic organizations across the region.
Nash's professional affiliations reflect a mix of legal, civic and community commitments. She has been a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2010 and joined the Georgia Association of Black Women Lawyers in 2016. In 2017 she became a mediator on the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution, a role she continues to hold. She is also a 2017 graduate of Leadership Augusta, a program she joined in 2016.
Board work and volunteer mentoring are recurring themes in Nash’s resume. She has served on the Augusta Bar Association Executive Board from 2018 until 2024 and was listed as Immediate Past President in 2023. From 2022 to 2024 she served on the board of the East Central Region American Red Cross. Since 2023 she has been involved with the CSRA Equal Opportunity Authority as a board member. Earlier in her career she mentored through REACH from 2016 to 2018, and she has worked as a mentor for the Royalty Ministry at Macedonia Church of Augusta since 2015.
Her community engagement extends into fraternal and civic service. Nash is active in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Xi Omega chapter. She has held roles including Assistant Secretary and Secretary, and she serves presently as a committee chair. Those positions sit alongside ongoing participation in local civic boards and professional groups.

She has balanced firm responsibilities with mediation duties and board service. Nash continues to lead NASH LAW OFFICE, LLC and practices law in both Mississippi and Georgia.
