About Kathryn
Kathryn Hockin is an attorney at Hall Law Personal Injury Lawyers who has practiced in Minnesota since joining the firm in 2019. She works from the firm’s Minneapolis, St. Cloud and Edina offices. Her time at the firm has been spent handling personal injury matters and supporting people who have been harmed in accidents.
Hockin earned her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Her legal education provided classroom training and practical exercises common to modern law programs, preparing her for the day-to-day work of civil litigation and client counseling. The law school years set the foundation for the litigation and negotiation tasks she performs now.
After finishing law school she began her career at Hall Law in 2019. At the firm she joined a team that represents plaintiffs in injury cases. Over the years she has worked on claims arising from motor vehicle collisions, slips and falls, and other situations that produce physical injury. Her role includes investigating incidents, communicating with medical providers and insurers, and advancing claims through settlement discussions or court filings when necessary.
Hockin is admitted to practice in Minnesota and maintains professional ties through membership in the Minnesota Association of Justice. That involvement keeps her connected to statewide developments in civil practice and to peers who handle similar matters. She attends association events and educational programs that address changes in law and procedure relevant to injury litigation.
