About Kate

Kate White built her academic foundation at two California institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Davis, then went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. Those years shaped how she approaches legal problems: analytical, methodical and attentive to the practical consequences for clients.

She entered private practice after law school and in 2018 joined the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos, LLP as an associate. The firm posted her among its associates that year. She has since taken on responsibilities typical of junior and mid-level lawyers, including research, drafting and direct client work under partner supervision. Colleagues describe her role as part of a team that manages case preparation and client communications.

White maintains an active membership in The State Bar of California. That standing allows her to appear for clients in state matters and participate in bar activities that shape professional practice. Her membership reflects the routine professional obligations of a practicing attorney, including continuing legal education and ethical compliance.

Her training in economics informs how she frames legal questions. She tends to look for practical solutions that consider both legal risk and economic impact. At the same time, a Santa Clara law education supplied traditional doctrinal coursework and clinical experiences used in day-to-day case work. Together those influences guide her approach to problem solving: fact-driven and attentive to the client's bottom line.

On a typical matter she prepares pleadings, participates in discovery, and supports courtroom preparation. She also assists in drafting transactional documents when the firm handles non-litigation matters. The work mixes short-term deadlines with longer-term strategy, and she balances them by prioritizing clear, concise written work and steady client updates.

Outside the office she keeps connections to the broader legal community through the state bar. Those ties help her stay current on procedural changes and emerging practice considerations in California law.

She continues to practice at the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos, LLP. She concentrates her practice at the firm, providing representation and legal services for the firm's clients.
