About Justin
Justin Pless built a career that bridges military service, nonprofit management and private practice. He earned a B.A. in history and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 and a J.D. from the University of Colorado Denver in 2007. Those credentials set the stage for a steady ascent into real estate law.
His early work combined legal training with public-service experience. While in law school he served as a judicial extern at a United States District Court in 2005 and worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2006. After law school, he joined Faegre & Benson, LLP as a real estate attorney in 2007. That role exposed him to transactional work and the practical demands of property law in larger firm settings.
In 2009 he launched his own practice, founding Pless Law Office. He has since built a small firm model that handles the everyday legal needs that arise in real estate transactions. His practice has a transactional emphasis, handling matters such as closings, title issues, contracts and other property-related work for both individual and business clients.
Before his legal career took shape, Pless served in the United States Army as a parachute infantryman beginning in 1998. He later worked in the nonprofit sector as executive assistant to the president and CEO of Capital Area Preservation, Inc. in 2002. Those roles informed his approach to client work: methodical, steady and oriented toward practical resolution rather than doctrinal debate.
Pless is licensed to practice in Colorado, Minnesota and Texas. He has maintained professional memberships and local ties that reflect the geographic spread of his admissions. His practice in Denver handles matters for clients in the region and, where appropriate, in other states where he holds admission.
He runs Pless Law Office, LLC out of Denver, Colorado. The firm handles residential and commercial real estate matters, focusing on transactions and title-related issues. He continues to serve clients through the firm’s transactional real estate practice.
