About Julia
Julia McGrath built her legal career in Florida courts. She entered the legal profession in 2013 and has since combined appellate experience with firm-side practice.
Her early work included a judicial clerkship at the Second District Court of Appeal in 2013. That position gave her a close view of appellate briefing, opinion drafting and the cadence of court decision making. The clerkship exposed her to the procedural and analytical demands of appellate work and to the rhythms of a busy intermediate appellate court.
Also in 2013 she began practicing at Dolman Law Group. Her role there has involved the day-to-day work of a lawyer at a law firm, handling filings, client matters and courtroom appearance preparation. Over time she has taken on increasing responsibility for managing cases and coordinating with colleagues on litigation strategy.
McGrath is a member of professional organizations that focus on trial practice and judicial process. She has been a member of the Florida Justice Association since 2013. She is also a member of the American Association of Justice, a national group that brings together trial lawyers across the country. Those memberships have kept her engaged with continuing education, peer discussions and developments in state and national civil justice practice.
