About John
John Zinda built a practice that operates across several states. He earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School after completing a Bachelor of Arts in political science at Southwestern University. Those credentials led him into private practice and, eventually, to founding his own firm.
In 2008 he established Zinda Law Group and has served as its chief executive since. Under his leadership the firm expanded beyond a single office. It now maintains locations in multiple Texas cities and a presence in Colorado. He is licensed to practice in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Texas, which allows him to handle matters that cross state lines.
He is active in professional organizations. He holds membership in the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Austin Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and a board member of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. His ties to the Brain Injury Association of Texas reflect an involvement with an issue that features in many serious personal injury cases.
Colleagues describe Zinda as someone who built a practice around courtroom work and appellate advocacy, though he has also managed cases through settlement. The firm’s structure supports trial teams that work on complex litigation and injury claims. Zinda’s role has combined case management, courtroom appearances and strategic oversight.
The firm keeps offices in North Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth in Texas, along with locations in El Paso and Denver. Those sites provide regional bases for lawyers and staff who handle discovery, client meetings and court appearances. The office network aims to keep the firm close to key state court systems and to clients across a broad geography.
Outside the office he has maintained steady ties to trial lawyer communities and to organizations focused on brain injury issues. He participates in bar activities and in local legal circles where trial practice and injury law are frequent topics. That involvement informs how the firm approaches cases and policy in the courtroom.
His current practice concentrates on civil litigation and personal injury matters, handled from offices in Austin, Denver, El Paso, Dallas and Fort Worth.
