About Ard
Ard Ardalan began his legal path after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Tufts University in 2012, where he studied international relations and anthropology. He returned to Texas for law school, earning his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. Those years combined a broad liberal arts background with formal legal training and set the stage for work both in courts and in service programs.
He entered private practice immediately after law school, joining The Meyerson Law Office, P.C. in 2017. That first role exposed him to litigation practice and courtroom procedure. In 2020 he moved to Bowman and Brooke, a firm where he continued to develop litigation skills. Each step brought new responsibilities and a deeper familiarity with trial work and case management.
In 2021 Ardalan opened Ardalan Law Office PLLC. He now runs the firm as owner, handling matters in state and federal courts. He is licensed in Texas and admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. The decision to start his own office reflected a preference for direct client work and case oversight.
Ardalan holds a Guardianship Certification from the State Bar of Texas. That credential signals particular training and qualifications in guardianship matters. He also maintains memberships in a range of professional organizations. Those include the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Iranian American Bar Association. He serves on the steering committee for the University of Texas School of Law alumni and participates in the Texas Law Mentoring Program as a mentor.
Pro bono and volunteer service form a steady part of his practice. Ardalan works with Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas as a volunteer lawyer. He combines that volunteer work with mentoring newer lawyers and staying involved in alumni activities. The mixture of volunteer service and professional association work keeps him engaged with both community needs and the legal profession’s ongoing development.
Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers clear preparation and careful courtroom presentation. He has built a practice that spans trial work and guardianship matters, and he represents clients in both state and federal proceedings. He continues to operate Ardalan Law Office PLLC, where he handles litigation and guardianship cases and provides representation in related civil matters. He currently focuses his practice on guardianship and civil litigation matters.
